Accommodation

Each elegant cabin on board an Amadeus by Luftner cruise offers an outside view and most come with a French balcony, to provide you spectacular panoramic views from the privacy of your cabin.

Each spacious cabin comes with adjustable air conditioning, interactive flat-screen television, telephone, safe, storage and hair dryer. The en suite bathrooms feature a shower and toilet and complimentary top quality toiletries.

Amadeus suites come with the addition of a minibar, seating area and many feature a bathtub as well.

Dining

Amadeus River Cruises pride themselves on their fantastic Austrian Hospitality onboard their fleet. This includes all-inclusive gourmet dining, the finest European wines and delicious local ingredients. Each dish features Austrian specialities and international delicacies and will be served to you by friendly, conscientious staff.

Breakfast is served in a buffet style, allowing you to start the day with as much or as little as you fancy. There are a variety of choices for lunch, from buffet styles, lighter bites and set menu options, which can be enjoyed in a variety of locations. At dinner, you will feast upon five courses of fabulous cuisine, all with vegetarian alternatives. Beer, wine and soft drinks are included with both lunch and dinner. Special dietary needs can be catered for as long as you advise Amadeus River Cruises prior to your departure.

Tea and coffee are available at no additional cost 24 hours a day, as well as afternoon cakes and pastries.

Facilities

Each ship in the Amadeus fleet has plenty to keep you occupied, from the health and fitness facilities to the onboard leisure programme of exercise classes, board games and shuffleboard.

There are regular destination talks by local experts as well as local entertainment on board every evening by the ship's musicians. There are also theme nights and folklore performances relating to your chosen destination.

Each ship also features hair and beauty facilities including massage and treatment rooms. Fitness centres are also available featuring top of the range equipment. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available to ensure you can keep in touch whilst away if you wish.

There are always new excursions for you to enjoy and river cruising gets you right to the heart of the action immediately. Enjoy wine-tasting in Burgundy, visit Holland’s Keukenhof tulip fields, take in a city tour or join a cycling ride to see more of your chosen destination.

All excursions are led by experienced tour managers with a wealth of knowledge about your chosen destination. They can educate you on all aspects of local history, traditions and those hidden gems which you wouldn’t ordinarily hear about. You can save money by booking a package of excursions in advance of your cruise or by picking them a la carte if you have specific preferences.

If you prefer to explore on your own you can take advantage of the onboard concierge service, who can help you plan your adventures. Bicycles and helmets are available on most ships for your personal use.
