I went backpacking for 2 years when I left University and when I returned I knew Travel was the industry I wanted to be in. That was 3 years ago and I haven't looked back since!
Creating the perfect holiday for someone and hearing that they really enjoyed it! I find it interesting to discover exactly what each person wants out of their trip and tailoring it to them, as everyone is different, which means each day at work is different too.
I would love to go to Cuba! It's a time capsule and I think seeing all the old cars would be fascinating! Plus you have everything you want there as the history is really interesting but they still have fantastic beaches to relax on.
It would have to be to the South Pacific. I visited the area while traveling but I have never done a luxury holiday, so going back and doing Fiji in style would be amazing!
I booked an adventurous honeymoon for a wonderful couple who flew to the Philippines for a beach break after their wedding, on all those beautiful Islands. On the way back they went via China and did a week of seeing the sights there, such as the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, a panda sanctuary and Hong Kong. It was the trip of a lifetime and I would love to do the same!
When I was 11 we went to Florida and did all the Disney Parks and SeaWorld. At that age it was incredible and seemed like a wonderland! We also went to Tenerife a few times which was great with all the parks there too. However, I was just as happy camping here in the UK!
It's so hard to choose! I would say my trip with G Adventures to Namibia, Botswana and Zambia would be up there. We took safaris and saw the Big 5, went through the Kalahari Desert, up the Okavango Delta and ended at Victoria Falls which was breath taking. Everything is bigger, bolder and brighter in Africa!
1) Book using an agent - It honestly makes everything easier and they sort it all out for you!
2) Plan your time - Make sure you get to do all you want to, and make sure to include rest days!
3) Pack nice and early - This decreases the stress of last minute hurrying and means you won't forget anything!
