When did you start working in the travel industry?

I started working in the travel industry as a teenager after I left school around 10 years ago. I started at Fred. Olsen Travel in Felixstowe after walking past and seeing an advert for a Trainee travel advisor. That's where my career in travel started.

What is your favourite holiday destination?

So far, it's between the Maldives and New York! I couldn't possibly decide as they are such different destinations! The Maldives are just stunning! Just like a postcard and they are great if you are a keen diver or snorkeler! And New York is just so busy and fantastic. There is something to look at around every corner.

Where would you like to visit next?

At the moment, I'm planning my honeymoon.. and we're looking to go Kuala Lumpur and then Bali. I like the idea of doing something busy and then just going off and laying on a beach!

What is your dream holiday destination?

Anywhere with animals! I'd love one day to be able to go to Borneo to see the Orangutans!

What has been your favourite holiday, which you have booked for a customer, that you would love to take yourself?

A river cruise along the Mekong! It looked absolutely amazing .. I was so jealous!

What were your favourite childhood holidays?

We used to go to Europe a lot for our family holidays. But my favourite holiday was when we went to the States to see my Auntie in Baltimore, we then flew to Florida for 2 weeks and did Disneyworld and Universal.

1) Always leave for the airport half an hour before you need to.

2) Wrap all your creams in a plastic bag before you put them in your wash bag, just in case one leaks!

3) Just relax, and enjoy!
