United States

The United States is a country that fascinates many of us. Whether you are taken by the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, the idea of living the American dream or the rich history that is behind all 51 of its states, a trip to the good old USA features on many a person's list of dream destinations.

As a country featuring beautiful national parks, iconic cities that are known around the world and some of the best road trip opportunities on the planet, it is no surprise that America lends itself well to adventure tourism. With so much to do on either coast, you can return again and again to discover an entirely different part of this fascinating country.

Our USA tours feature activities such as trekking through Yellowstone or Yosemite National Park, walking sections of the Appalachian Trail through four different states and even cruising the islands off the coast of New England, visiting places like Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket in the process. Plus, there’s the chance to see some of the most awe-inspiring and popular sights in the world. The Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls, Monument Valley and the Statue of Liberty are just a few that could make up your itinerary, giving you so much to look forward to during your trip.

Many of our journeys to the United States also give you the chance to discover other destinations in this part of the world. You can combine your tour with a visit to Alaska or Canada, creating the ultimate North American adventure.

America is also home to many of the world's most famous cruise ports. Places like Miami and Fort Lauderdale are perfect departure points for a cruise to the Caribbean, whilst there's also the opportunity to see the fantastic autumn colours along the East Coast. Ships visit spots in Massachusets and Maine before also crossing the border into Canada. On the other coast, cruises to Alaska often start in American ports like Seattle. Sailing in the other direction, you can also visit famous Californian cities such as San Francisco, LA and San Diego.
